Finally, spring!

We've finally strung enough days together to officially call it "spring" here in New York. The days are getting longer and warmer and we're soaking it all up.

Noah has taken to seeking out the sunniest spot in the house and hanging out in the warm rays.
Tag sale season is in full swing and Matthew delights in all the little treasures he finds.
Sidewalk chalk creations are starting to fill our driveway.
And outdoor play is becoming the norm.
Today we made our first trek to the school playground for some after dinner play.
Both boys had a blast.
It's nice to end our days like this.
I puffy heart you spring! Welcome back.

Happy 2nd Birthday Noah Frederick!

You are sweet and gentle (when you want to be).
You like what you like and that's all you like.
You do what you want to do when you want to do it.
You are daring and adventurous and do everything on your own terms.
You are growing up so fast. You're more of a little boy than a baby.
And I love everything about you.
Happy 2nd birthday Noah Fred - I love you to the moon and back!

Just for fun.

Pinterest is a great place to escape real life for a while.

Jane Goodrich Photography

Back in February we had the chance to have a professional photo shoot done by the fabulous Jane Goodrich. She is a wonderful Westchester photographer that brought out the best in my boys.
She really captured Matthew's playful personality.

And Noah's quiet reserve that he doesn't let many people see.
This picture, my all-time new favorite of the boys. Can you feel the love???
You can see my full review of our session over at Simply Stacie - while you're there, enter for a chance to win Jane's book "Capturing Everyday Life".

Happy Monday!

Easter Weekend

We had quite an action packed weekend. It all started Saturday morning at my niece Annalise's 4th birthday party.
Hours of fun at a place called Jumping Jeepers. Lots of things to do for the little crew.
Lots of things to climb and slide on.

On Sunday Matthew woke up bright and early to see what the Easter bunny brought. The bunny got a deal on Skylanders this year.
Noah didn't know what to look at or play with first.
Both boys agreed to let me take their pictures with their Easter T-Rex shirts before heading out to grandma's house.
The Easter bunny made a stop there too - a bucket full of goodies and toys.
Then there was the annual egg hunt.
Noah was much better at it this year.
Then it was the traditional Easter feast. I'm still a little stuffed!

Today, back to normal. Back to school. I've taken down the Easter decorations and now we begin the countdown to summer vacation!
